provide support. Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions. To get your new
home started or to answer other questions, please contact us at (603) 798-4663.
"What about financing?"
Liberty Modular Homes does not offer mortgage lending, but we have experience with a number
of local banks and mortgage companies. We provide detailed paperwork to make the lending
process as easy as possible.
"How much money should we allow for site development?"
Typical lot development costs are $50,000 to $55,000 including utilities, well and septic,
grading, gravel drive, and foundation. Custom specifications, such as longer than average
driveways or special exterior features, will cost more.
"Do we have to use your team of subcontractors?"
Liberty's contractors are proven professionals in modular home construction, but we
are happy to work with your preferred contractors, provided they can meet our quality
standards and stay on schedule.
"How long does it take to build a New England Home?"
Construction generally takes about 7 months from deposit to move in, depending upon
the season.
"Aren't all modular homes sort of like trailers?"
Visit our Model Home page to see how modular homes are not similar to mobile
homes/trailers. Liberty offers over 150 floor plans, including several colonials
and contemporaries, split levels and capes.
"What about re-sale value?"
A New England Home exceeds construction standards for and has the look and feel of
traditionally constructed houses. Appraisers and lenders, as well as future buyers,
hold these homes in high regard.
